Locate the url of each of the articles and then paste it in tagxedo or jason davies' word cloud generator. Use the two word clouds to identify potential ways to compare and contrast the two articles. This should help you generate ideas for your compare and contrast essay due on October 27th. Share your word clouds in the discussion forum "Let's Compare and Contrast". Lingering Questions from Chapters 1-2
In module 2 you will find three different websites to generate word clouds. Choose one of these word cloud types and generate a word cloud of any lingering questions you have after reading chapters one and two of your text. Submit your word cloud as a url in the assignment "Lingering Qs Chpt 1&2" by 12pm the night before we will be discussing these chapters - October 27th. This gives me the opportunity to read your questions prior to class so we can focus on these questions during our class time. Plus it will let me know that you did the reading! |
Key Words/ Theme from Reading Assignment
Create a word cloud of the themes found in the fictional reading assignment. Read "The Story of an Hour" by Kate Chopin and identify the various themes in the story that you could potentially use to write an essay. (Or use word clouds as a way to generate ideas before writing your essay.) |
