Using Plickers in the Classroom
Plickers is a fun assessment tool to use in a classroom that allows you to incorporate technology but not every student has to have a smartphone, ipad, or type of technology to respond to questions. Students each get a card (assigned a certain number card that's associated with their name - Johnny has card #1) with a funky looking image and the teacher scans the image to record the students' answers to the question. Depending on how they turn the card is the answer - A, B, C, D. Plickers allows for multiple choice or true/false questions only.
Teachers need to create the class, and then create the questions for their test, quiz or just in class question asking. Images can be added to the questions which is helpful if you'd like the students to identify elements or parts of a diagram or a picture. See below for a sample grammar quiz on use of commas.

Using Kahoot
Kahoot is a fun game-based learning software where you can quiz your students and add images and videos and music to make the experience more FUN and ENGAGING for them!
